We turned the wheel of theory into something that actually rolls.

In April 2023, Ekolitika participated in the a hackaton called Using EntreComp and Digcomp, a Youth@Work Erasmus+ mobility project focused on developing entrepreneurial competences in youth work. Organized in the capital of North Macedonia, this event brought together youth workers and changemakers from across Europe to rethink what it means to be “entrepreneurial.”

Through hands-on sessions, peer learning, and facilitated exploration of the EntreComp Framework, participants shared practices, tools, and real experiences on how to empower young people - not just to start companies, but to take initiative, solve problems, and create value in their communities.

For Ekolitika, this was an opportunity to reflect on our own approaches to non-formal education and to connect purpose-driven work with sustainable innovation. It also opened new space for collaborations with organizations working at the intersection of education, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
